Her mother Sarah (Foote ) Stuart was given "Cedar Grove" in King George County by her father Richard Foote upon his death.
Married cousin Richard Helm Foote (1772/3, Trure Hall, VA), s/o Richard Foote (20 Jan 1734, St. Paul's Parish-1778, South Dakota) and Margaret Kincheloe, on 17 Jun 1826, 5th wife.
