The son of my ancestors, JOHN, "the farmer" and ELLEN THOMPSON (my ancestors), he married Priscilla Powell on March 29, 1666 in New Haven.
John Thompson was one of four men from East Haven chosen to meet with a committee form Branford to settle a dispute over boundries on Feb. 15, 1683. Two years later on May 9, 1683, the same four men on behalf of East Haven gave a quitclaim to Branford for lands within their bounds.11
