Notes for Robert Lovell
Robert LOVELL & his wife Elizabeth emmigrated from England to Massachusetts and settled in Weymouth. They are the progenitors of all of the LOVELL families in Weymouth and the nearby towns of Abington and Bridgewater.
It is not known where in Robert & Elizabeth were from in England and no proof has ever been found concerning her maiden name.

Born about 1595 (aged 40 on 20 March 1634/5). Husbandman who came to Massachusetts Bay in 1635 on the "Marygould" & settled in Weymouth. (On 20 March 1634/5, "Robert Lovell, husbandman, aged 40," "Elizabeth Lovell, his wife, aged 35," "Zacheus Lovell, his son, 15," "Anne Lovell, his daughter, aged 16," "John Lovell, his son, aged 8," "Ellyn, his daughter, aged 1," "James, his son, aged 1," and "Joseph Chickin, his servant, 16," were enrolled at Weymouth as passengers for New England on the Marygould. Died after 3 April 1651 (date of will) and before 6 November 1658 (when a deed refers to "land of the widow Lovell."
Married by about 1619 Elizabeth _____. She was born about 1600 (aged 35 on 20 March 1634/5) and perhaps died not long before 25 June 1672 (when her husband's will was proved, at least fourteen years after he died).11
