Elizabeth Chard was born about 1587 in Thorncombe, Dorset, Canterbury, England. She married Aaron Cooke, and was mother of AARON COOKE, Jr. She married (2) Thomas Ford, 19 Jul 1615, in Bridport, Dorset, England, as his 1st wife.

In this article are some records for a Thomas Ford of Powerstock, Dorsetshire, which may or may not be relevant to our Thomas Ford. Torrey had earlier presented evidence on AARON COOKE which showed that he was stepson rather than son-in-law of Thomas Ford.
