Notes for Anthony Thompson
This Anthony Thompson is believed to have arrived in Boston on the "Hector" with two brothers, John & William, in 1637, in the company of Davenport & Eaton. He was a founder of Quinnipiack (New Haven), signing the Fundamental Agreement in New Haven on June 4, 1639.
He probably came with his first wife (name unknown) and three small children. His second wife was named Katherine.
After Anthony's death, she married
NICHOLAS CAMP, on July 14, 1652 in New Haven Colony.

In 1643, there were four persons in his family, he had 17 1/2 acres of land in New Haven from the first division, 3 1/2 acres in the neck, 9 1/2 acres in the meadow, and 38 acres from the second division.

On July 1, 1644, he was administered the Oath of Fidelity by Theophilus Eaton, Gov. of New Haven Colony.
On March 10, 1646, Anthony Thompson was assigned the 6th row of the middle seats of the Meeting House.
His will was written March 23, 1647 in New Haven. His oldest son inherited the house, land & meadow (except his wife to have the house during her lifetime). Inventory: 236 pounds, 18 shillings, and 10 pence. His two brothers are mentioned in his will.
