Notes for Margaret Longsdorf
Margaret Longsdorf was one of three children (also Homer and Marian) born to Michael H. and Elizabeth Homer Longsdorf. She and her sister Marian studied at the conservatory in KC, MO. She became quite proficient in piano and often gave recitals around the city with high acclaim and for many years she served as organist at the large Episcopal Cathedral in downtown Kansas City.
She married Chauncey Flagg and they were parents to two children, Robert C. Flagg and Doris Flagg (Roepke). Divorced early, Margaret taught music and lived near downtown KC,MO. Her last years were spent with her daughter Doris and family in the beautiful Oregon countryside.11
