Unicorn designer Sheri Levy dies
Memorial services were held today for Sheri Levy, 28, who died in an Albuquerque hospital Tuesday after an illness. Miss Levy owned and operated Unicorn Originals Custom Tailoring first in Santa Fe then in Albuquerque. She had a heart ailment and suffered viral pneumonia beginning in October her family said.
She was a graduate of Del Norte High School Class of 1971. She also studied art and tailoring classes at the University of New Mexico. She was born April 11 1953 in Denver. Surviving are her parents Jerome and Clara Levy, Albuquerque and one sister Diana Levy Salo, Los Angeles, Calif.
She designed and sewed her own merchandise and had created a number of wedding dresses.
