Be careful using the data and verify with actual records, if possible. Another note: Ann Parker belonged to the Dunkards. Hard to imagine her child marching with George Rogers Clark. That could be verified with DAR records.

Michael Paul, the head of our family in the United States, was born in Holland. The time and place of his birth are not known, as the record of his own family has been lost, and no history previous to his appearance at Germantown, Pennsylvania.
The time of Michael Paul's immigration to this country & whether he came alone, or with any of his father's family, is unknown. He had several brothers in this country, who were settled in or about Germantown. The names of these brothers were unknown to my mother.
Michael Paul settled in Germantown, PA. and was married at that place to Miss Ann Parker about 1751. She was born 1724. He remained in Germantown until 1766 or 1767, when he went to a place in Pennsylvania on the Monongehela River, called at that time, Redstone Old Fort-- now included in the town of Brownsville, PA. How long he remained there I do not know, but probably 15 years.
It is possible that Michael Paul was commander of the fort while residing there, as in his "History of early Times in Pennsylvania," it says that Captain Paul was in command of this fort, although his date of the affairs differ a few years from the dates of this sketch--does not give the first name of Captain Paul whom he mentions and is not positive as to date--but puts it a little earlier than that given here.
Michael Paul went from Redstone Old Fort into Virginia--now West Virginia, and from there he moved to Kentucky in 1781 & settled in Hardin county--not far from Elizabethtown, where he resided until his death in 1801 or 1802. I have no means of knowing his religious belief. Ann Parker was born in Germantown, PA. in the year 1724. She belonged to the order of Dunkards. She died in June 1813--aged 89 years. She was a cousin of one Rev. Samuel Davis, D.D. a noted Presbyterian divine of that day- who was the successor of Jonathan Edwards as president of Princeton Theological Seminary.

Rachel, born at Germantown, PA date unknown. Died in Hardin co., KY in 1814. She was married to Mr. French. They had two children, Paul & Elizabeth. Mr. French died in KY and Rachel married a Mr. Stoner. Paul French went to Illinois & Elizabeth married a Mr. Porter & moved to Alabama. All trace of her and her brother, Paul French, have been lost
[This may be the Eliza Porter who married the wealthy land owner at Fort Nashborough. I found a marriage record on Ancestry]
Peter, born at Germantown, PA--date unknown. He came to KY with his father in 1781, where he died in early manhood. He was married to Eunice Cooper, a native of New Jersey. they had two children, John & a daughter, who died in infancy. John came to Madison and settled on a farm. He died in Madison, Ind. in 1870. [this may be the Peter Paul who was with Squire Boone at Painted Stone Station and who was killed or captured in the Long Run Massacre. Do you know how to find those records? In a separate note there is a note that says Jonathan went to Decatur county, Indiana and that John and Peter went to Madison co., Ind. that could also be a mistake]
Martha, born at Germantown--died in 12th year of her age, at Germantown.
John, was born in Germantown, PA. Nov.12, 1758. He went with his father to Redstone Old Fort, PA.& from there to Virginia and afterwards to Kentucky in 1771 [think she meant 1781]. He married Sarah Thornberry Grover at Danville, KY. in 1795. He left KY in the fall of 1800 and went to Green [Greene] co., Ohio, where he lived in or near Xenia until 1809, when he moved to Madison, Indiana--landing there Oct.6, 1809 [I believe they went there by flatboats] He resided in Madison until his death, which occurred June 6th, 1830. He was with General George Rogers Clark in his expedition against the British and Indians in 1778.
John & Sarah Thornberry Grover Paul had four children,
1st, Mary Berry born in KY, Oct 19, 1796 died in KY 1798
2d. Ann Parker born Mar. 18, 1799 near Elizabeth, in Hardin co., KY. She married William Hendricks at Madison, Ind. May 19, 1816. She died at Madison, Sept. 12th, 1887.
3d. John Peter born Green co., Ohio, Dec. 23, 1800. Died Clark co., Indiana Sept.1835. Married Eliza Meek, Madison, Ind. No children.
4d. Sarah Grover born Green co., Ohio, Mar. 21, 1802. Died Madison, Ind. Sept.14, 1877. Married 1st. Dr. Robert Cravens of Virginian; married 2d. Dr. Samuel M. Goode of Virginia. Married 3d. Rev. Benj. C. Stevenson, a Methodist Divine. Her children are Judge John R. Cravens & Dr. S.M. Goode, both of Madison. Her daughter, Sarah B. Stevenson died in infancy.
Ruth born in Germantown--came to Kentucky with her father in 1781; married David Vidito; died in Kentucky; date and place unknown. Her only child, a daughter, married a Mr. Morgan in Kentucky. Her history is unknown.
Elizabeth born in Pennsylvania, 1776. Died near Madison, Ind. in 1844. She was married in Hardin co., Ky to REv. Patrick Brown, a Virginian. (He had Rev. Service). They lived on a farm near Madison & died there. They had 6 children.

He moved to Green co., Ohio about 1806 and in 1819 or 1820 moved to Flatrock, Decatur co., Ind. His daughter, Elizabeth, married Thomas Hendricks of Greensburg, Ind. (2d. wife) Have not obtained further history.11
