Notes for Dennis Michael Kelly
Dennis Michael Kelly, 54 passed away at home in Orange, CA on February 24, 2008 surrounded by family. Dennis was born on June 13, 1953 in Kansas City to Robert and Kathryn (Sommerhauser) Kelly and was one of eight children. He attended St. Francis Xavier Grade School, going on to DeLaSalle and Hogan High Schools, graduating in 1972. He married Elizabeth Neenan on June 8, 1974. Dennis owned his own business in Orange, California where he and Beth have resided for the last 21 years. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and his younger brother Thomas. He is survived by his wife Beth; their children - Liam with his wife Amique of Los Angeles, Katie and Gavin of the home; his brothers and their wives James (Wendy), Robert (Debbie), and Terry (Kathy); and his sisters Patricia, Sheila, and Geralyn--all of the Kansas City area. He also leaves his many Neenan brothers and sisters-in-law; his aunt, Helen Sommerhauser; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and Maggie the dog. A celebration of his life will be held March 2, 2008 at 1 p.m. at Church of Scientology Advanced Organization in Los Angeles, CA (colorful or tropical attire). A celebration will be held in the Kansas City area at the Tuileries, 10801 Glenwood, Overland Park, KS on March 8, 2008 from 7-10 p.m. Dennis was a strong believer in the strength and love that comes from one's family - epitomized by an old Irish saying "Ta Mo Chroi Ionat Go Deo" – My heart is forever in you.
